What Do We Offer

INITIAL ASSESSMENT:

We will undertake a thorough initial assessment to fully understand your needs and requirements, your aims and goals. We will need to gain a full picture of your previous and current medical history to understand your situation and suggest a way forward. Depending on the results of the initial assessment we will develop a short term and long term treatment plan together with an exercise programme. If needed we will liaise with your GP and other NHS/private professionals.

A MOBILITY ASSESSMENT:

Thorough assessment of your mobility issues, mobility aid use and identification of how mobility can be improved. Together with you we set achievable goals and agree on a treatment plan.

FOLLOW UP SESSIONS:

We will use variety of techniques to aid you in recovery. The follow up sessions complement the initial assessment to help you achieve your full potential and your set goals.

A PERSONALISED EXERCISE PROGRAMME:

Utilising a variety of personalised exercises for cardiovascular health, injury recovery, conditioning, strengthening and flexibility. Together with you we will design a short term and long term plan to enable you to do things you love for longer

SPECIALIST NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION:

Our speciality is to provide treatment and long term management for those who have suffered a neurological condition such as stroke, brain Injury, spinal injury. We also offer our expertise and long term management to those who are being challenged by MS, Parkinson’s, dementia and clients with special needs. We are very efficient in liaising with other professional, case managers and other agencies involved in your care.

BALANCE AND FALLS PREVENTION PROGRAMMES:

There is a lot that can be done about improving your balance. We can use a variety of hands on techniques and specialised balance retraining strategies to help you to improve your balance, reduce the risk of falling and help you to build your confidence.

EXERCISES TO IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH:

There is a wide selection of skills that we can use to improve your mental and physical well being. Some of those are meditation and mindfulness techniques that help to calm and re-balance the nervous system. Please contact us for any specific needs.
